Hot Tub & Spa Removal in Temecula Valley, CA
An old hot tub that nobody uses is one of the hardest things to get rid of on your own. It weighs several hundred pounds empty, it's usually behind a fence or down a side yard, and no trash service will touch it. We remove above-ground and built-in spas across the Temecula Valley, take most of them out in one piece, haul everything away and leave the pad clean.

What's included in hot tub removal?
- Draining. If the tub still has water in it, we drain it before we move it.
- Removal in one piece when possible. With the right dollies and a full team we take roughly nine out of ten tubs out whole, which means less mess and no fiberglass dust in your yard.
- Cutting it down when we have to. If the tub won't fit through the gate or down the side yard, we cut it into sections on site and clean up after ourselves.
- Steps, cover and lifter. The cover, cover lifter, steps and any surrounding skirting go too.
- Haul-away and cleanup. We load everything, haul it away and sweep the pad or deck.
How does pickup work?
- Book online or call (951) 291-1700.
- We text when the team is on the way.
- We look at the job and give you a firm price before any work starts.
- We load, haul and sweep up.
How much does hot tub removal cost?
Hot tub removal is priced by the size of the tub and how hard it is to get out. A small above-ground spa on a patio by an open gate is a quicker job than an eight-person tub on a raised deck behind the house.
We look at the tub, the route out and anything else you want gone, then give you one firm price before we start. The price we give you on site is the price you pay, even if we misjudged the load. We take cash, check, card, Zelle and ACH.
If you're also getting rid of the gazebo, the deck around the tub or old patio furniture, we'll include it in the same quote so it's one trip.

Why do homeowners call us for hot tubs?
- We do a lot of them. Hot tubs are one of our most common jobs. Temecula Valley neighborhoods built in the 1990s and 2000s have thousands of spas reaching the end of their life.
- We're insured. We carry general liability and workers' compensation, so if something goes wrong on your property, you're not the one covering it.
- We can usually do it the same week. We work seven days a week, 7am to 8pm, and can often come out the same day or next day.
What do you need to do before we arrive?
- Turn off the power. Switch off the spa's breaker before we get there. If you'd like an electrician to disconnect the wiring, schedule that first.
- Clear the path. Move pots, furniture and anything else between the tub and the gate.
- Unlock the gate. If you won't be home, let us know how to get into the backyard.
- Tell us about steps or slopes. Photos of the tub and the route out help us bring the right team and equipment.
Built-in, deck and in-ground spas
Built-in spas set into a deck or partly sunk into the ground take more work than a tub sitting on a pad. We cut out the deck boards around it, remove the shell and haul the debris. If you're planning to put something else in that spot, tell us and we'll leave the area ready for it.
For a concrete or gunite in-ground spa that has to be broken up, we'll look at it in person before quoting. Ask about light demolition if there's more to take out.

Frequently asked questions
How long does hot tub removal take?
Most hot tubs take one to three hours from the time we arrive, depending on size, access and whether it has to be cut down.
Do I have to be home?
No. As long as the power is off, the gate is open and we've agreed on the price, we can do the job while you're at work.
Can you remove a hot tub from a deck or a backyard with stairs?
Yes. Stairs, slopes and narrow side yards are common here. Send us photos and we'll bring the team and equipment the job needs.
What happens to the old tub?
Usable parts and metal are recycled. The shell and cabinet are taken to a permitted disposal facility.
Can I remove my hot tub myself?
You can, but it takes several people, a trailer and a saw, and fiberglass dust gets everywhere. If you're doing it yourself, we also rent dumpsters for the debris.
