Where to Donate Furniture in the Temecula Valley
Short answer: clean, usable furniture can go to local charities like Habitat for Humanity. If you're also getting rid of things that can't be donated, our team can take everything in one visit: usable items go to charity and the rest is recycled or disposed of.
What do charities accept?
- Couches, tables, dressers and chairs in good condition
- Kitchenware, decor, lamps and linens
- Clothing, books and toys, bagged or boxed
- Clean, working appliances, when a charity can take them
What usually gets turned down?
Mattresses, stained or damaged furniture, and items with pet damage or strong odors. Charities decide at the door, so expect some pieces to be refused.
Will a charity pick it up?
Some do, but charity pickup schedules often book weeks out, and drivers can turn items down when they arrive. If you have a deadline, like a move-out or a closing, that's where a team helps.
Can your team separate donations during a cleanout?
Yes. That's the most common way we do it. Most of our donations go to Habitat for Humanity. If they can't take an item, we try other local charities before recycling or disposal.
Is donation pickup free?
Not with us. Donation pickups are priced like our other jobs, by how much room the items take in our truck, from $148, because the labor and hauling are the same. Combining donations with junk removal is usually the most efficient option.
Do I get a donation receipt?
Charities issue receipts, not us. Ask when you book and we'll tell you what to expect.

Yes. Usable items go to charity and the rest is recycled or disposed of, in one visit.
